Gracie's Hidden Treasures Appetizers
For the Dressing:
2¼ cups mayonnaise
1¾ cups sour cream
1/3 cup, or more, horseradish
2 tablespoons dry mustard
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon dill weed
1 teaspoon garlic salt

Mix well several hours in advance of using.
Spoon over the following assortment arranged in shallow serving dish.
The “treasures” should be covered with the dressing:
Water chestnuts, cooked shrimp, cherry tomatoes, large mushrooms, green peppers cut into squares, thick avocado slices, thick cucumber slices.

Gracie also added sautéed chicken livers as a surprise “treasure.” Dredge livers in flour and cook in butter in skillet. Serves as least 12. The rule is what you pick you must eat.
