Sauté in butter and drain.
Brown in preheated 350 degree oven.

Cut day old, dry or stale bread into ¼ inch cubes
Place bread cubes into a plastic bag and drizzle with Italian salad dressing.
Shake until all bread is thoroughly coated.
Brown in preheated 350 degree oven.

Cheese

Cut day old, dry or stale bread into ¼ inch cubes.
Sprinkle grated Parmesan on croutons before browning.
Brown in preheated 350 degree oven.

Savory

Cut day old, dry or stale bread into ¼ inch cubes
Sauté in butter and drain.
Sprinkle with curry powder, marjoram, thyme, chili seasoning, onion or garlic salt or any favorite herb or spice.
