Sewing at Craft Village
My grandmother considered sewing to be a survival skill and she insisted that we all learn to sew.
The boys in my family, as well as the girls, have made some wonderful things over the years. My
cousins Bob, Al and Chuck all got together and made a wonderful big tent for hunting. It is complete
with windows, screens and a vapor barrier around the lower outside edge. It has served them well
for over 25 years. They also fixed up an old ’65 mustang and they were able to sew the new
upholstery too. Sewing is for everyone!
There are many ideas in this section from the easy to the more complex, but don’t limit yourself to
